About this service

This vocabulary browser provides access to the machine-readable representation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF), adopted by the Convention on Biological Diversity at COP-15 (December 2022).

The framework comprises 4 goals, 23 targets, and 204 monitoring indicators organized into four roles: headline, binary, component, and complementary. All data is available in English, French, and Spanish.

URI resolution

Every concept has a persistent URI under http://metadata.cbd.int/kmgbf/. These URIs support content negotiation following the W3C Cool URIs pattern: request HTML to get this browsing interface, or request text/turtle, application/ld+json, or application/rdf+xml to get machine-readable RDF for the specific concept.
